If scheduled, attend the baptism orientation session.
Logistical Preparation
Arrive at least 30-45 minutes before service.
Bring a change of clothes.
Bring undergarments appropriate for water immersion.
Bring a towel
Avoid heavy fabrics that become transparent when wet.
Remove valuables before entering the baptism area.
For Parents of Minor Candidates
Review the meaning if baptis with your child.
Ensure your child understands this is their personal declaration of faith.
Assist them in arriving prepared and calm.
Day of Baptism
Check in with the designated ministry leader.
Be prepared for prayer before entering the water.
Invite family members to witness and celebrate.
After Baptism
Continue in discipleship
Remain connected to the New El Bethel Baptist church community.
Schedule and attend the NEB new members orientation class.
